John and I worked together on the purchase of a property. I found John to be responsive, courteous, and professional. He responded to my requests promptly and scheduled my showings as quickly as he could. John was always willing to help, and go the extra mile. I had a couple of situations with the home I purchased, John was right on the phone to me, advising me on how to protect my interests so I would not get stuck paying for something that shouldn't have been my responsibility. I really appreciated that! Another trait I admired was his demeanor, John is always even keeled, and kind, nothing gets his feathers ruffled. He is professional in every way, not only his demeanor, but also in his appearance. John made it a point to touch base with me every week, even when I found my home. He also continued to answer questions after I had moved in. He actually thanked me for my business! I did not have a positive experience with a previous realtor, so this made me appreciate John even more. I highly recommend John, and the next time I need a realtor he will be getting my business!

John was very helpful in securing a sale and was flexible with his times and willingness to attend multiple showings. He was helpful throughout the process and was knowledgeable regarding construction issues. He was able to communicate to the listing agent effectively.

I can't recommend John enough. From the beginning, he was flexible by agreeing to show properties to my family while I was living out of state. John was patient when my state was added to the mandatory quarantine list, which made me put off looking at homes altogether until I moved up to NY. When I found the home my family loved, John knew to keep negotiating when I was ready to just accept the first counter off. When I had issues with financing, he explained how things would change with a different type of loan and got all the necessary paperwork completed quickly. Every time I had a question or an issue, John responded almost immediately. While this wasn't my first home purchase, this was my first home purchase on my own, and I am grateful John was there every step of the way.

My wife and I worked with John starting in the summer of 2020 to purchase our first home. Being a Cortland resident himself, John had a lot of knowledge in regards to the Greater Cortland Area and the surrounding towns.

During our home buying process John must have shown us close to 20 or so homes and was super responsive. We would email or text him a list of addresses we saw online, he'd set up a showing and we would be in the house typically within the next 2-3 days. His response time to texts and calls was great too! I think we talked at least once or twice every weekend from August until December when we finally closed on our house. He didn't care if it was Saturday morning or Sunday night, he was dedicated about getting us the answers we were looking for.

We moved into our home 4 days before Christmas and John was more than happy to take our picture in front of our new home even though he had to stand in 2 feet of snow in our front yard just to get the right angle.

I will say this: John, the lawyer we used, and the mortgage company we used all said our home buying process was one of the hardest they ever worked in all of their respective careers. It seemed like at every turn and crossroad something came up which delayed us another few days to a few weeks. And that's not even dealing with COVID!

Despite the back-and-forth and troubles we ran into, John always went to bat for us each time, maintained his composure and showed the utmost professionalism at every twist and turn. John has an easy-going personality but takes his job as a realtor very seriously.

John stuck with me over nearly TWO years of looking for a home and the COVID crisis, showing me homes whenever I asked. No high pressure sales, just honesty. I truly appreciate that in this day and age.

John was absolutely amazing! I’am not from the Cortland area and was not very familiar. But John was first, very welcoming to me and my family. When showing us houses he answered all of our questions and concerns honestly, and he was always very polite. And throughout the buying process he was completely involved. He advocated for me, guided me, and supported me until I closed. John made the experience very calm and easy. Even when things got a little frustrating, he eased my fears and advised me appropriately and positively. My overall experience with John was extremely great! As first time home buyers, we had no idea what we were doing or what to expect. John was helpful in every way. He is a great communicator and was very accommodating to our schedules when it came to scheduling showings. We were nervous, but John was very transparent about the entire process. When it came time for us to make an offer, we were intimidated, but John talked us through every step of it. He let us know what to expect as well as how to make our offer seem serious and competitive. John knows his stuff! After making our offer and it being accepted, John stayed in constant communication with us. He was an advocate for us and made sure we knew where we were as the home-buying process progressed. We were so happy to have John represent us!
